Greg Rothers and his team did outstanding work on our whole house renovation. Greg and Matt worked closely with us during the initial design phase, listening to our interests and concerns while giving great suggestions along the way. We were struggling with moving our main floor laundry to an upper level, and their ideas and suggestions unlocked new possibilities for the spaces considered.

I needed to add a small laundry room/mudroom/pantry. My house is over 100 years old and I wanted the finished product from the outside to look as though it had always been there. ROTHERS Design/Build did the work and it looks fantastic. I am an architect, and the quality of their work is as good as I have ever seen anywhere. Their price was very reasonable and they did the work in a timely manner. The crew assigned to my project was incredibly professional, skilled and pleasant to work with.

We had ROTHERS Design/Build build us a house from the ground up. After discussing style and a few stipulations, we just sat back and watched what Greg and Matt came up with. Wow! These guys are brilliant! The house turned out way beyond what we had imagined. The care and craftsmanship is evident throughout. Greg’s crew and sub-contractors are all people you could be friends with. We had three sets of neighbors (even the disgruntled neighbor!) go out of their way to tell us how impressed they were with Greg’s operation. As the house began to take shape, I started writing down all the comments passers-by would offer. Two of them sum up our experience: From a retirement-age inspector, “I’ve been in every house in Kansas City. This one is the best.” And a UPS guy, “You guys architects?” No, but we know some really great ones – Greg Rothers and Matt Berislavich!

We hired the very talented architect/contractor Greg Rothers to design and build our beautiful old-world European home. The challenge was how to build the house with relatively few straight corners. There’s hardly a 90° edge to be found from the walls, to the woodwork, to the very high ceilings. Soaring above the hearth room and kitchen is an immense patterned brick barrel vault. Spectacular! The theme of this luxury home is in the details, which is featured in the 2015 issue of Kansas City magazine. You will see a stunning winding staircase with medallion inserts on the custom stair handrail. The beautiful emperador marble adds personality to the sprawling 6000 ft.² home. Lighting, of course, was key in every room, especially in the gallery! Mr. Rothers is a very unique designer/builder. He is service minded, a perfectionist, and has a very loyal crew. We highly recommend ROTHERS Design/Build.

My husband and I worked with Greg Rothers and ROTHERS Design/Build on two separate renovation projects at our first home, and then we hired Greg to build our current house. The first renovation was an addition to add a large master bedroom and bath, and the second was a complete modification of our basement, which required structural work to raise the ceiling height. Our new home’s design and craftsmanship is award-winning (contemporary category award and KC Homes Magazine). ROTHERS Design/Build was extremely professional and very pleasant to deal with; our house was done on time and within budget. Great custom work- I would highly recommend them. We’ve used ROTHERS Design/Build for three major projects, and we would use them again!

ROTHERS Design/Build added onto our existing home and completely remodeled the rest of the house. We were out of the house for seven months during this renovation. Greg, his crew and subcontractors were creative, yet budget conscience. They were courteous and prompt. They gave us the house that we hired them to design/build/remodel.
